We first met Terry in June 2020, he was non-verbal, doubly incontinent, was self-harming and aggressive towards staff and could not leave the home unless he was on reigns. He spent 7 hours a day in the shower or bath. He was unable to use public transport or visit the shops and would become extremely distressed and disruptive. He only slept for two hours at most each night.
Terry was living in a residential care home on the edge of being placed into care. We were able to put into place a personalised package of care that has helped Terry thrive at home with his Dad and enjoy school and social activities.
