As a healthcare provider, we know how important it is to stay connected. That's why we're all in for Brew Monday today.
Brew Monday is an annual UK initiative aimed at combating loneliness and promoting mental well-being. It encourages everyone to grab a warm drink and have a good chat with friends, family, or colleagues. It's a simple way to show you care and check in on each other.
When someone is struggling, it can feel very lonely, and a friendly chat can really help to lift spirits. Talking openly about how we're feeling is important for supporting mental health, and just being there to listen can make a big difference. You don't have to be an expert; showing you care is what matters. ๐
So grab a cuppa and take a moment to enjoy a warm drink, and connect with those around you.โ๏ธ

Here's one of our recent values awards winners, Danielle, a Healthcare Assistant in our Merseyside team.
We are delighted to recognise Danielle for her outstanding display of compassion. Her service user's family shared, "Danielle has always been an excellent carer and has recently gone above and beyond. She can't do enough for us and always knows when we need cheering up (usually by bringing us lots of choccies!)."
Danielle's 'can do' attitude shines through as she constantly asks if there's anything she can do to help. She cleans, dusts, irons, and even has a brew waiting for the family in the morning. Her support has been invaluable, especially during stressful times.
The family added, "We are very lucky to have her on our package of care. She is a fabulous part of our team, and we often joke that 'everyone should have a Dan in their life!'"
Danielle's dedication and ability to connect with both service users and colleagues make her an essential part of our team. Thank you, Danielle, for your incredible compassion and for always going above and beyond!
