Job description

Apollo Home Healthcare currently has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Office/Care Consultant to work within a brand new office in Liverpool.

We provide specialist complex homecare to adults, children and the elderly working in partnership with Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG’s), Case Managers, and Private Individuals to deliver a tailored care services. Our offices are the hubs of our business and they coordinate and manage all of the care that we deliver.

Due to business growth we are opening an office in Liverpool, which will initially operate as a satellite office of our Heywood operation. This provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced Consultant or Manager to grow and develop this new satellite office into a fully functioning office of its own.

As a Deputy Manager you will manage and develop home healthcare services within the office and play a key role in increasing profitability and aiding business growth. Key responsibilities of your role will include;

Managing and developing relationships between yourself, the service user and care team

Investigating complaints and make recommendations for further action Management of Worker compliance ensuring that this is kept fully up to date

Attending new business meetings and confidently selling the services of Apollo Home Healthcare

Management of complaints, incidents, and accidents

Dealing with issues raised in relation to packages and attending meetings Attending relevant meetings in the absence of Operations Manager/Deputy Manager

Full understanding of pay and charge rates and the commercial viability of packages.

Strong understanding of internal policies and processes ensuring that these are followed across the office

Supporting and training new consultants

Carrying out Healthcare Assistant’s supervisions and appraisals

We support clients with a range of complex clinical conditions including brain and spinal injuries, cerebral palsy, Muscular Dystrophy and Motor Neurone disease. Exposure to and an understanding of these types of conditions is crucial.

This role would ideally suit a consultant with a strong track record of delivering complex care packages who is looking to develop into a management role. You will be working in a small dedicated team in a very fast paced environment, so we are looking for someone with a ‘can do’ attitude who can hit the ground running.

Your working hours will be between 8am-6pm Monday – Friday and do include some weekly on-call duties on a rota basis. Travel will also form a part of this role.

In return for your hard work and dedication you will receive a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum and;
