Job description

The Role

We have a vacancy for a Care Assistant to work with an adult in the Middleton area. Our client has Down's Syndrome and requires assistance with aspects of daily living.

This will include personal care, moving & handling and domestic tasks.

You will also be monitoring oxygen and ventilation overnight.

The hours of support

We support our client overnight and currently have the following available:

  • Friday - 9pm - 6am
  • Saturday - 9pm - 6am
  • Sunday - 9pm - 6am

These are all waking night shifts.

Our ideal candidate

We require a Female carer and this position is ideal for somebody who has a strong background working in care and is ready to take the step up to deliver complex care independently.

We require someone who has experience working in care for a minimum of 6 months.

The perfect candidate will be bubbly, dedicated and willing to learn. You will be signed off by a Registered Nurse to be able to work independently.

£9.75 - Fridays £10.25 - Saturdays £10.50 - Sundays £15.00 - Bank Hols

  • You will receive holiday pay When you work, you accrue the holiday pay which will then be paid during annual leave.

  • You will also receive ongoing training and development from the staff in our Heywood office. They are there to ensure you are able to provide the best standard of care and to ensure you are enjoying your job!
