An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Care Co-Ordinator to join Apollo Home Healthcare based in Heywood, Greater Manchester

Apollo Home Healthcare is a national provider of high quality complex care at home services for adults and children, allowing individuals to stay within their own home to receive person-centred care and support.

We work in partnership with Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG’s), Case Managers, Solicitors, Insurance Companies and Private Individuals to deliver a tailored care service.

We support service users with a wide range of conditions including:

  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Motor Neurone
  • Disease
  • Muscular Dystrophy
  • Complex Care
  • Spinal Injury
  • Acquired Brain Injury
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Respiratory Support
  • Home Ventilation

We offer a comprehensive range of services to our clients, these include Complex care, Head and Spinal injury rehabilitation, Personal Care, Live In Care and Palliative Care.

Desired skills

As a Care Co-Ordinator/Office Consultant your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Meeting Service Users within their own homes to understand and identify their clinical needs
  • Continuously develop the relationship between yourself and the service user and care team
  • Recruit care teams based on the service user’s requirements and specifications
  • Manage the teams of Healthcare assistants
  • Carry out Healthcare Assistant’s supervisions and appraisals.
  • Processing time sheets to ensure all staff are paid.
  • Investigate complaints and make recommendations for further action.
  • Management of Worker compliance ensuring that this is kept fully up to date.
  • Attending meetings with local Case Managers / Commissioners.Whilst previous experience in a similar role is ideal, it is not essential.

A willingness to be in a care environment with our adult and paediatric clients is required.

The role is working in a dedicated team in a very fast paced environment, travel will be required within this role.

Your working hours will be between 8am-6pm Monday – Friday and do include some weekly on-call duties on a rota basis.

In return for your hard work and dedication you will receive a salary of £18,000 - £25,000 per annum and;

Essential skills

Although sector experience would be an advantage, it is not necessary.

Due to traveling to client's homes, a driver is required.
