Job description

Apollo Home Healthcare is a specialist healthcare provider within the community looking after adults and children with life limiting illnesses. Our management team comprises of a group of highly dedicated individuals who have a significant track record in the delivery of complex home healthcare services.

Due to our recent growth within the we are looking to recruit a talented Operations Manager for our office location based in Doncaster. This location provides service delivery across in Doncaster, Barnsley, Leeds, Bradford, Sheffield, Yorkshire & York.

We are open to applications from experienced Registered Managers, Service Managers or people who have had strong sector background looking to take the next step into management.

The role will include:

  • Management of a team of consultants who will implement care packages.

  • Managing accident, incidents and complaints.

  • Developing new business and networks to generate packages of care.

  • Recruiting and maintaining care staff to support complex packages.

  • Implementing strong operational processes across the office to support the delivery of a high-quality service.

  • Achieve the aims of the agreed budget and manage costs relevant to the office.

  • Being responsible for the safe delivery of the service in line with legislative requirements and company policy and procedures.

  • Managing the safe implementation of new complex packages

  • Attending meetings and forums to review service delivery.

  • Becoming the Registered Manager of the service following a successful probation period.

  • Entrepreneurial, driven by business growth and motivated to exceed performance targets

  • Highly motivated, driven and organised

  • Focus on delivering only the very highest levels of care

  • A strong manager of people and team or an aspiration to be one.

  • A hands-on approach.


  • Track record of running a successful care service.

  • Experience in managing a multi-disciplined team.

  • Evidence of working with high acuity service users.

  • Proven business development skills.

The role is working in a small dedicated team in a very fast paced environment.

The working hours are Monday – Friday, based on 37.5 hours per week.

  • Salary of £30,000 - £42,000 per annum dependent on experience

  • 25 days holiday

  • Performance related bonus
