Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced care assistant to support an amazing young boy who lives in the Stockport area.

You will be joining his current team who are a mixture of Nurses and Care Assistants. This means that you will receive a high standard of training along with support and guidance from our North West office which is based in Heywood.

Our client requires clinical intervention so you will also be required to carry out his tracheostomy care, ventilator management and PEG feeding/medication.

The hours of support that we deliver are 8.30pm - 7.30pm and we can offer these hours on both a full and part time basis.

Our client loves interacting with his care team and responds to routine so we are looking for continuity and dedication so he sees familiar faces on a long term basis. This role is perfect for someone who is bubbly and warm and loves to work with children.

Another integral part of this role is supporting his family. He has a very loving and close relationship with his family and we want to enable them enjoy their time together rather than worrying about his care needs.

If you have a passion for working with children you will love working with this young boy.

In order to get to know the routine and care needs of this child, you will have the opportunity to shadow a skilled member of staff for your first 6 weeks of employment.

During this time you will be paid £9 an hour and when you are signed off to work independently your hourly rate will increase to between £10.50 to £15.75 /hour.

If you would like to hear more about this opportunity, you can contact our recruitment team on 01902 847 111 or apply online now.
